Who is Rolf?

For many years, I developed laboratory equipment as a medical engineering engineer and later worked in aviation.

2020 was a major turning point for me: My wife became seriously ill with Long COVID/ME-CFS. During this time, I felt very strongly how powerless one can feel when there seem to be no clear answers. This motivated me to complete a naturopathic education program and ultimately completely reorient myself professionally.

After my wife found her way out of this illness, our shared passion project emerged: the Safety Retreat Online Program. Today, I dedicate all my strength and energy to this project because I am convinced that our experience and knowledge can provide guidance and support to others.

I recharge my batteries in nature on Lake Constance – by swimming, jogging, or doing yoga.

And the most important thing for me is: No one should feel alone in this situation.

During my time as a junior doctor, I began early on in holistic research and work in the hormone outpatient clinic and the naturopathy outpatient clinic at the University Women's Hospital in Heidelberg.

I have been running a private medical practice since 2004 – first in Heidelberg, and since 2007 on Lake Constance.

In my more than 20 years of medical practice, I have intensively studied complex clinical pictures and integrated various methods such as acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and mind-body approaches into my work.

In 2020, I had to interrupt my practice due to my own illness.

Since the end of 2022, I have been working in my medical practice again with joy and full commitment. As part of the Safety Retreat, I accompany the participants not in my medical role, but as a coach.

What also makes me happy: swimming in a lake or dancing. I also love immersing myself in a good book, meditating, or spending time with our two adult children.

My wish is that you can feel safe in your body again.
